​​Multimedia Workshop – Honduras

Dates: October 29th – November 5th, 2016
Location:  Rancho el Paraiso/Olancho, Honduras (Primary site in the Agalta Valley) – located in northern Honduras; dormitories situated on a fully operational 1,400 acre Ranch; HOI has spent over 25 years working in this area; work projects vary/primarily focused on a range of community development and economic development projects including, but not limited to building latrines, mudding homes, mixing and pouring concrete floors, making eco-stoves and eco-ovens.

Costs:

$840 – This is the approximate airfare cost, but each participant is responsible for a round trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras 
$800 – Room and Board, includes all meals, travel to and from the airport and locations for the workshop
$1800 – Workshop costs
$2,600 – Total Cost + Airfare 

Deadlines:

$500 Deposit to secure a spot on the trip. Due August 10, 2016
$2,100 Due by August 30, 2016 

 
The workshop will take place once we have a minimum of 5 participants. We will take no more than ten total students to keep to a small teacher-to-student ratio. Once we receive your application, portfolio, and payment, you will have a spot reserved for you.

A portfolio is required. Please send us a link to your work. We assume you have a working knowledge of photography.
